This is a fun clock. You can turn the center of the clock so you are looking at the clock - as we show in the top photo. Or, looking at a photo you have inserted - as we show in the bottom photo. (Noon rolls down to 6 o'clock) There is a slight protrusion just above the 12 which allows this clock to stay in position. The center is made of clear plastic, 2 inches in diameter, and is shaped like a ball. The clock has a second hand. The frame is a perfect circle and measures 4-1/2 inches in diameter. The back has a non-movable metal stand. In order to replace the photo you unscrew that side of the ball. This is great quality. Made of polished chrome in Germany.
