Made on Martha's Vineyard. Here's the artist's story: Cecilia was born in Lima, Peru. Her career in jewelry began at the age of 14 when she apprenticed under the renowned silversmith, Juan Yucra. Her junior year in college she studied with a blacksmith at the University of Urbino in Italy. After getting her degree in Art Education, Cecilia created jewelry for a jewelry boutique in the Boston area. She then moved to Norway to apprentice with the famed Scandinavian silversmith, Uni David-Anderson. Returning to the US, Cecilia began her own jewelry house in the SOHO district on NYC. In 1987 she permanently located her business on Martha's Vineyard. Today you see the Scandinavian and Art Deco influence in her jewelry. Her work is exhibited in over 250 galleries, boutiques, gift shops and museum stores nationwide. However, she sells her jewelry on one Internet site - our site, Wall Street Gifts.
