The magnificent facade of the New York Stock Exchange is captured in this photo. The words NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE are written in gold above the flag.The NYSE is the literal and figurative center of Wall Street. The architect for the building was George B. Post. The intricately designed pediment was done by JQA Ward - the same person who created the George Washington sculpture across the street. Sadly the NYSE will be moving to a new building that is better suited to modern technology.
