Ride 'em cowboy sculpture! The cowboy shows strength and skill in riding the wild bucking horse. The cowboy's head is bent down as he holds the reins with one hand, and has his hat in his other. He is still in the saddle, and his legs are parallel to the ground, feet in the stirrups. The detail of his wrinkled button down shirt and chaps add to the realistic representation and movement in this ancient copper sculpture. The horse kicks his two front hooves into the air and its head his down as he challenges the prowess of the cowboy. This cowboy is in control, even while the horse tries to unseat him!
The ridge on the side of the base makes having a plaque impossible.
